The role is varied and is ideal for someone whose main focus is UX and UI but also has a good understanding of and can implement design principles across other platforms. You will be leading all of the design work carried at X, and growing the team over the next few years as the business grows.
It’s an exciting and challenging role at the same time, you will need to balance the requirements of the marketing, product, tech and sales teams and also your own responsibilities to structure and strengthen the brand over time. The ideal candidate will be very organised and happy to jump from task to task.
You will need to work efficiently to deadlines, handling your workload effectively by prioritising and working closely with our team. Looking after and developing our brand is a core and vital part of X so we’ll make sure you have the right resources necessary to grow into the role and continue making our brand so unique and special.
What we look for and would love to see:
● 3+ years of experience with UI/UX Design
● 2+ years of experience with Figma
● Experience on working with a mobile development team
● Having worked with Agile Methodology (we run 2 week sprints)
● Experience with Jira/Confluence
● Using design thinking to gather and evaluate user requirements, in collaboration with product
● Developing UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function
● Knowledge of mobile engineering processes & practices
● Passion for our goal and strong desire to be part of the mission
● Knowledge of print design and illustration is preferable
● Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and video editing skills are desirable, but not essential
