Develop the application, within an Agile environment, using Python, Spark and GCP
• You will clean, transform, and analyse vast amounts of raw data from various systems using Spark
• Analyse sudo SQL code retrieved from Spark and rewrite using Python code.
• Understand Data pipelines
• Liaise with source system and data owners (Quants , Risk Managers, Analytics , Front Office business and technology).
• Own / design / architect code
• Implement best coding practice among junior members of the team.
• Produce readable, documented code with excellent test coverage.
• Relevant working experience in either Risk Management or banking / finance related projects
• Strong in Object Oriented Programming skills and knowledge
• Strong Python development skills
• Hands on experience in writing python/ pyspark for data wrangling/transformation./migration.
• Ability to read sudo SQL code
• Code design experience beneficial
• Hands on GCP (Google Cloud Platform ) experience
•Ability to work with large volumes of data.
• Previous experience and understanding of financial modelling useful.
• Project Implementation experience working with global development teams
• Experience working in agile environments Jira & Confluence experience desired
• Open personality and effective communication skills, ability and flexibility to work in an
international team
• Ability to write clear and understandable documents
