We are looking for an Experience Architect, Newswires to support our Newswires product within
our B2B portfolio. Newswires provides market-moving, trusted news, exclusive insights and rich
data sets for financial firms, professionals and investors.
As an Experience Architect you will help customers connect with Newswires, bringing your
experience in usability, information design and information architecture to create and document
holistic experiences. The ideal candidate should have a passion for user-centric design and the
tools and processes that make it happen.
In this role you will move projects from concept to concrete solutions by optimizing experiences
for our readers, working with Product and the Director of Experience Architecture to
conceptualize solutions, map user flows, implement information architecture, build prototypes
for testing, and create wireframes and detailed functional specs. Your expertise should bring an
understanding of modular design and design systems to contribute to a scalable, sustainable
approach that enables speed to market, evolution, and optimization.
This will be a highly collaborative role requiring partnerships with SMEs, Editorial, Experience
Design, Technology, UX Research, and Product.
The Experience Architect will report to the Director of Experience Architecture, B2B.
Responsibilities:
● Bring industry best practices and a familiarity with metrics to your solutions
● Bring an eye for information design and a knowledge of information architecture to
create experiences that are both data-rich and elegant
● Optimize and communicate the larger story of how our users will interact with a product
through user flows
● Collaborate on improving the architecture of our digital products and the use of
metadata to organize and connect content
● Collaborate on wholistic navigational solutions that encourage site exploration and
connect brands
● Create solutions that meet both customer needs and business objectives
● Facilitate the design process through wireframes and prototypes
● Contribute to the creation of interaction patterns in our design system
● Explore and validate solutions by creating prototypes for and actively participating in
user testing
● Conduct heuristic reviews and apply findings to new solutions
● Incorporate recommendations and analysis from our Customer Insights and UX
Research teams
● Translate business objectives into detailed functional specifications to ensure rapid
development of projects
● Coordinate on ensuring we meet requirements for accessibility
● Independently deliver on projects and work with others on teams
● Last but never least, serve as an advocate for our readers, keeping their needs at the
heart of our digital solutions
Required Skill Set:
● Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
● Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
● Strong grasp of UI, HCI and UX principles
● Understanding of best practices for mobile, web-based and responsive design
● Experience in user and screen flows, conceptual and detailed wireframing, and
prototyping tools
● Experience working with Design Systems
● Experience working with Agile
● Experience working with Figma
● A strong portfolio that demonstrates your experience and UX skills, illustrating step by
step solutions for features
● A portfolio that displays a clear examples of deliverables
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills

● Experience in the design of News or Financial Services
● Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and compliance
